Scope of Work:

Design and install a new, integrated council chamber AV system following the complete renovation of the chamber.

Key Project Details

  • The city decided to modernize its AV system as part of an overall renovation of its council chamber with the goal of enabling staff to broadcast meetings in high quality format over the Internet.
  • The new AV system, designed to allow meeting participants to make presentations from their computers, has all the upgraded AV features for a modern council chamber.
  • It includes a video display system with monitors of various sizes as well as a new wireless conference mic system that sends audio signals to the in-room gallery speakers and feeds into the broadcast and recording system.

Special Features

  • The AV system has an easy-to-use 22-inch touch screen broadcast control panel with control capabilities rivalling a traditional broadcast control room. It allows the operator to manage the audio and visual settings of the broadcast with features that include adjusting the cameras to fade in from one view to the other and focusing into predetermined positions.
